ICYMI: $4 billion CA ballot measure
for parks and water projects

This month California lawmakers approved bill SB 5, a measure to provide $4.1 billion in new funding for parks and water projects, such as flood protection, levee upgrades and water recycling.

Currently under consideration by Governor Brown, according to The Mercury News, "If he signs it, as expected, it would be placed on the June 5 statewide ballot. It also would represent the first statewide parks and water bond to appear on a state ballot in 12 years, since Proposition 84 in 2006."
