State and Federal Agencies Announce Additional Transparency on BDCP

Last week, the California Natural Resources Agency and U.S. Department of the Interior announced additional steps to increase transparency in developing the Bay Delta Conservation Plan. Draft documents on the BDCP will now be available to all stakeholders at the same time.

SCWC is hopeful that this step will help the BDCP process continue moving forward. Be sure to read SCWC's statement in response to the announcement.

New Delta Disrupted Materials Now Available

Delta%20Disrupted%20Logo2.jpgAs many of you know, SCWC has recently launched a public education program, Delta Disrupted, to educate Southern Californians on the Bay Delta Conservation Plan. We now have additional documents online to help our members and other interested parties reach out to their local community members and share their support  for the BDCP.

Send out a letter of support for the BDCPA sample letter of support is provided to you for your convenience on our dedicated webpage.

Include an article in your organization’s next newsletter about the BDCP! A sample newsletter article can be found on our website, Socalwater.org.

And be sure to check out an op-ed on the BDCP in Fox and Hounds Daily from Billie Greer, president of the Southern California Leadership Council.
